The Croquet Association - The Queen's love of the sport

Be Broadcast teamed up with the Fell Pony Society following the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth.

During her reign, the Queen was a patron of the charity which sought to support the breed of pony which has roamed the northern fells for years.

Working closely with the team at the Fell Pony Society, Be Broadcast was able to quickly understand messaging and pinpoint the reasons behind the Queen’s support.

The nation was moved as Emma, appeared in the Queen’s funeral. She was held by Terry Pendry LVO, BEM, stud groom and manager to The Queen at Windsor Castle, with Her Majesty’s headscarf folded over her saddle as the funeral procession passed by.

Be Broadcast was able to secure significant coverage for the Fell Pony Society during the period – including BBC Radio 5 Live, ITV London News, ITV Border, an hour-long segment across BBC Cumbria, BBC Newcastle, BBC Lancashire. Interviews also landed across BBC Merseyside, Capital, Smooth and Heart,

ITV Border
