The Essentials

What’s your role at Be Broadcast, and what are you most excited about?
I’m an Account Executive at Be Broadcast, which basically means I help keep campaigns running smoothly, pitch stories to the media, come up with creative content, and lend a hand wherever I’m needed. I’m most excited about getting stuck into the world of media, building genuine relationships, and soaking up as much knowledge as possible from such a creative and fun team.

What did you do before joining us?
Before joining Be Broadcast, I studied Film and Media communications at the University of Liverpool, where I developed skills in filming, editing, and storytelling.

What drew you to this role/industry/company?
I wanted to dive headfirst into the world of marketing and get hands-on experience with live campaigns and Be Broadcast felt like the perfect place for that. What drew me in was the team’s friendly, fun, upbeat vibe. Everyone plays a key role, and it’s great to be part of a tight-knit team where everyone’s input is valued. It’s a place where you’re encouraged to grow, take on new challenges, and get involved in interesting projects.

What has been the best thing so far?
The best thing so far has been that sense of accomplishment when a campaign comes to life. It’s fantastic knowing that our work makes a real difference to the clients and helps get important stories out to listeners and viewers.

Get to Know Them

If you could swap jobs with anyone for a day, who would it be?
If I could swap jobs with anyone for a day, it’d be a mix of Louis Theroux and David Attenborough. I admire Louis’ ability to connect with fascinating people and dig deep into their beliefs. At the same time, Attenborough’s way of exploring the world and observing wildlife is something I’d love to experience.

What three items would you take to a desert island?
I’d live in the moment and take sun cream, a sunlounger, and an ice-cold margarita.

What’s your secret talent or party trick?
I can Irish dance quite amateurishly – so if you’re around me, you might want to guard your toes before I start my “unique” talent.

What’s the most random job you’ve ever had?
I worked at a casino for a short tint. It was a very interesting experience, full of quirky characters.

Who would play you in a movie of your life?
2000s Amanda Seyfried or Kirsten Dunst

If you were a biscuit, what kind would you be and why?
I’d probably be a shortbread biscuit. Classic but always reliable. I like to think I bring a bit of sweetness and a lot of consistency wherever I go.

Work & Wisdom

What’s your work superpower?
My superpower is editing and visuals – I’ve got an eye for design and love bringing ideas to life through creative content.

Best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
If you want something different in life, you have to do something you haven’t done before.

What’s your proudest achievement so far?
Receiving my degree and walking across the stage to collect the certificate – a moment that celebrated three years of hard work.
