Sky Sports News is expanding its football coverage with the launch of The Premier League Show, a weekday magazine programme airing Monday to Friday from 5pm to 7pm. Designed to provide a daily snapshot of all things Premier League, the show will combine the latest news with in-depth features and expert analysis.
From Monday to Thursday, The Premier League Show will be hosted by a single presenter, with Julian Warren and Emma Paton alternating in the role. Each edition will also include a dedicated reporter and pundit to unpack the day’s biggest Premier League stories, giving viewers both breaking updates and thoughtful commentary ahead of matchdays.
Fridays will take on a different energy with Premier League Friday, hosted by Roman Kemp. Known for his work in radio and television, Kemp will bring his football passion to the studio each week, building anticipation for the weekend’s fixtures. Speaking about his new role, Kemp said: “Football means more to me than anything. To be a part of a show like this building up to the biggest games in world football is a real privilege. I can’t wait to get going and as a fan, do this show justice.”
The programme launches on Friday 15 August, coinciding with the start of the 2025/26 Premier League season. That evening, Sky’s coverage will centre on the opening fixture between Liverpool and Bournemouth, with live build-up beginning at 6:30pm on Sky Sports Premier League and Sky Sports Main Event.
By combining daily coverage with a strong build-up to weekend matches, The Premier League Show aims to cement Sky Sports News as the go-to destination for fans seeking comprehensive and engaging Premier League content throughout the week.
