LadBible Launches FAST TV Channel
LadBible Group has stepped into the world of television with the launch of its first FAST channel, available now on Samsung TV Plus in the UK. The move brings the youth-focused brand’s hit digital programming to connected TV audiences 24 hours a day, marking a significant expansion from social and digital platforms into the living room.
The new LadBible FAST channel will showcase some of the group’s most popular original formats, including Minutes With, which spotlights compelling personal stories, Snack Wars, which sees celebrities sampling and rating foods, and Agree to Disagree, a format where guests debate topical and sometimes controversial issues.
A New Original: Jury Room
To mark the channel’s launch, LadBible has unveiled Jury Room, an original debate show featuring “juries” made up of diverse and often unexpected voices such as barristers, business owners, former gangsters and Gen Z influencers. The debut episode tackles the provocative question “Should we bring back military conscription in the event of war?”
The six-part series will be available on both connected TV and YouTube, reflecting LadBible’s approach to reach audiences across multiple platforms while creating conversation around timely and divisive topics.
Industry Reaction and Strategic Positioning
Becky Gardner, Head of Originals at LadBible Group, described the launch as an “exciting new opportunity” to connect with a broader audience. She said the expansion reflects the brand’s commitment to being “where our audience is” and to delivering “always-on entertainment that they love, anytime, anywhere, on any screen.”
Samsung TV Plus EMEA Head Gus Grimaldi praised LadBible as a “global powerhouse of entertainment” and called them an ideal partner to reach the growing number of FAST TV viewers. He emphasised that younger audiences are increasingly turning to connected TV, making partnerships like this central to the platform’s strategy.
FAST TV and the Future of Viewing
The new channel is pre-installed on Samsung Smart TVs from 2016 onwards and available via Samsung Galaxy smartphones and tablets. It comes at a time when FAST (Free Ad-supported Streaming Television) channels are gaining traction, especially among younger audiences who enjoy linear-style streaming without a subscription fee.
This move positions LadBible alongside a growing list of publishers expanding into FAST to monetise existing IP, test new formats and strengthen audience loyalty. With its reputation as the UK’s fifth largest social and digital business and recent expansion of the US female-focused brand Betches into the UK, LadBible is now extending its influence into yet another viewing space.
Be Broadcast’s View
LadBible’s FAST TV launch demonstrates how digital-first brands are increasingly blurring the lines between social, streaming and broadcast. By leaning on existing popular formats and introducing an attention-grabbing debate show, the group is not just repurposing content but actively shaping a TV offering built to spark conversation.
For broadcasters and media planners, this is another signal that audience habits are shifting. Connected TV is no longer a fringe channel for younger viewers; it is becoming a primary destination. For brands, the emergence of publisher-led FAST channels offers a way to reach highly engaged communities in a more curated environment than traditional social feeds.
LadBible has built its success on knowing where its audience will be next. With this launch, it has made a calculated bet that the next frontier is already in people’s living rooms.
