LBC News Unveils Fresh Weekday Line-Up with Vanessa Baffoe, James Hanson and Charlotte Lynch

LBC News has launched a brand-new weekday schedule, bringing in a trio of fresh voices to its line-up. The move follows the departure of long-standing presenters Lisa Aziz and Martin Stanford, marking a new chapter for the station.

Broadcast journalist Vanessa Baffoe now leads the morning with the all-new LBC News Breakfast from 6am to 10am, delivering the latest headlines and live updates to start the day.

James Hanson takes over weekday evenings from 7pm to 10pm, bringing a fresh, approachable voice to the evening line-up. He’s also setting his alarm early for a brand-new Sunday breakfast show on LBC, from 4am to 7am.

Meanwhile, Charlotte Lynch, Global’s seasoned reporter, joins the LBC News presenter team to host late nights from 10pm to 1am, offering listeners a clear and steady take on the day’s biggest stories as they wind down.

As part of the new schedule shuffle, Steve Holden moves from evenings to mid-mornings, hosting from 10am to 1pm. Jim Diamond continues his regular slot from 1pm to 4pm, followed by John Stratford from 4pm to 7pm, rounding out a strong daytime line-up.

Tim John, Managing Editor of LBC News and Global’s Newsroom, said:
“I am excited to announce and launch our powerful new weekday schedule for LBC News, as we welcome some of the UK’s finest broadcasters and journalists to our brilliant team, in Vanessa, James and Charlotte. Alongside Steve, Jim and John, they are fantastic news presenters, keeping our listeners updated with the latest news from the UK and across the world when they need it.”

With this refreshed line-up, LBC News continues to build on its commitment to trusted, timely, and engaging news coverage around the clock.
